The Ultimate HPC Geek Contest - SC06 Winner

Charlie Peck, Associate Professor of Computer Science at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, was the SC06 winner of the Ultimate HPC Geek Contest. His prize—a 16-node cluster valued at roughly $40,000—is not only powering scientific research at Earlham, but allowing Peck to extend HPC capabilities across the United States as part of the Open Science Grid.
